Skydiving over Queenstown is high on the list of must do’s for many visitors to Queenstown, but for lots of travellers the lead up to the jump can be just as nerve-racking as the jump itself.
To help you prepare for your skydive we’ve put together a few things you can do to manage your nerves and make sure you step onto the plane and experience one of New Zealand’s ultimate adventure activities.
Book your skydive in advance
If your skydive is locked in before you leave home there’s less chance you’ll back out at the last minute. As an added bonus you’ll ensure your spot on the day you want to jump which is especially important during peak travel periods when some days can be fully booked.
Jump with a friend
Convince your travel buddy to do a skydive with you that way you can help each other when you’re feeling especially nervous or ready to back out.
Stay in the night before your jump
Queenstown is renowned for its nightlife and it can be very tempting to take your mind of your nerves by having a night on the town.
While you might manage to forget about your nerves for a few hours you’ll also end up feeling less than perfect for your jump.
Check out skydiving videos and photos
One of the best ways to get pumped for your skydive is the watch YouTube videos of others having the time of their lives skydiving over Queenstown.
Another great way to get a taste of what to expect during your jump is to check out photos of others who have skydived over Queenstown. You can see some of the incredible photos captured by NZONE Skydive here.
Skydiving over Queenstown is one of the most adrenaline pumping experiences you’ll ever have and with a little bit of preparation you’ll be stepping onto the plane with confidence.
