Walking/Hiking - The Rob Roy Glacier Walk incorporates all that you could ever want from an Alpine walk. Stroll along the banks of the Matukituki River, then climb through beautiful New Zealand rainforest, see native birds, including the cheeky alpine parrot - the Kea, waterfalls and of course the glacier itself. Mountain River Jet Boating – Fed by Glaciers and surrounded by the peaks of Mount Aspiring National Park, the Matukituki River is one of New Zealand’s, most powerful and pristine jet boating rivers. 4WD adventures – Climb onboard a trusty Landrover with Ridgeline Adventures and explore behind the scenes of a real NZ sheep and deer farm overlooking Lake Wanaka on the edge of Mt Aspiring National Park. Learn about the history of the area, visit heritage sites, enjoy an easy nature walk, a glass of wine or plan your own private photography charter.
Siberia Wilderness Experience - A 4 hour wilderness experience combining scenic flight, valley walk and jet boat ride. Start in Makarora with a scenic plane or helicopter flight to land in the remote Siberia Valley and enjoy a relaxing 3 hour hike on a well marked track amidst the stunning alpine scenery. Rendezvous with Wilkin River Jets for a fast paced return jet boat ride through the icy blue waters of the Wilkin and Makarora Rivers.
Fishing - Anyone will tell you that NZ is a fisherman’s paradise. Skiing – During the winter months the Lake Wanaka region is a skiers dream.
