Your explorations start in Auckland, our largest city. Investigate the stunning beaches of the Coromandel Peninsual and the geothermal wonders of Taupo and Rotorua before you head to Wellington, the world's coolest little capital. Enjoy the ferry cruise over Cook Strait to the South Island. Catch a fishing trip in the Marlborough Sounds or shop for art in Nelson.

Experience the rainforests and glaciers of the west coast, before making your way to the alpine wonderland of Wanaka and Queenstown. If you're here in winter (June - September), this is a great place to stop and enjoy the snow. From here you can visit Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park, home to New Zealand's tallest mountain, before venturing to Christchurch.

Framed by a massive natural rock arch, Cathedral Cove is only accessible by boat, kayak or on foot.

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city, and is an exciting and scenic city to explore. Today you make your way from Auckland to the Coromandel Peninsula, a favourite holiday spot for Kiwi's and visitors alike.

Formerly a gold-mining and timber town, Coromandel township is now a haven for artists, craftspeople and conservationists. It has many well-preserved Victorian buildings and an interesting museum. There are several good walks in the area and a railway enthusiast has created an hour-long train trip at Driving Creek.

The road to Whitiangal is a winding one, so take your time. You'll pass the pretty beaches of Kuaotunu, Matarangi and Whangapoua on your way.

The beach town of Whitianga is home to a fishing fleet - expect to eat some excellent seafood while you’re here. The two sites you must visit are Cathedral Cove - a picturesque photo spot - and Hot Water Beach, where you can dig your own natural spa. You can see both these attractions in one day - but you'll need to time it carefully, as you need to be at Hot Water Beach within 2 hours of low tide to access the naturally heated water.

Situated near Victoria Park in the city centre, La Zeppa has fabulous views of the Sky Tower and the
