Overlooking Hagley Park from The George Hotel - is an iconic southern gastro destination with a wine list described as ‘outstanding’ by Wine Spectatormagazine. Under head chef Reon Hobson, Pescatore offers contemporary dining that marries classical cuisine with the latest food techniques.

Pegasus Bay

North Canterbury’s Pegasus Bay winery and restaurant gives diners a total food and wine experience. The menu is created around their wine list, with each dish being matched with suggested wine.  Changes are made regularly to utilise local seasonal ingredients.

Riverstone Kitchen

The menu of Riverstone Kitchen is short and uncluttered with a focus on  ingredients sourced from their extensive vegetable gardens and orchards.

Fleur’s Place

Fleur’s Place is a little restaurant on the jetty in Moeraki Bay - a beach that’s otherwise famed for its curious rock formations, and which also supplies the fish for Fleur Sullivan’s celebrated kitchen. Like the menu, the restaurant is a simple rustic construction built with taste.

Plato Café

Occupying a former hostel for seafarers in Dunedin, Plato retains its links to the sea through an ever-changing menu with an emphasis on seafood, along with a wide range of local produce and beverages, including their very own beer made on site.


Amisfield Winery & Bistro is idyllically located in an iconic stone building overlooking Lake Hayes in Queenstown. They offer a daily changing a la carte menu and the “Trust the Chef” signature menu which offers a shared dining experience.
