About

Enjoy a fun and informative guided walking tour (taken by a local writer) and see key historic literary sites along with quirky new literary endeavours that all celebrate why Dunedin is a UNESCO City of Literature (one of only 20 world-wide). Along the way you will see Dunedin's the key historic buildings and landmarks, as well as hearing stories and anecdotes about famous NZ writers: their lives, their work and their love of Dunedin. There are two tour options:
Our University of Otago Campus Walk which is 2 hours long and runs 4x week during the 'Summer Season' from October to April. Or, enjoy our shorter shorter (75 minute) Central City Walk which runs at 2pm daily (depending on demand).
