If you only try one thing in Queenstown, make it bungy jumping or jet boating – both activities are iconic in this area. Queenstown boast's the Southern Hemisphere's highest bungy jump, and some of the world's most diverse and knuckle-whitening jet boating along three beautiful rivers.
For those who fear no height, there's skydiving, paragliding, mountain climbing, swinging and canyoning. And in winter (June - October) you can try heli-skiing on untouched, powdery slopes. Water babies will love white water rafting, or if you prefer to stay on land, you can mountain bike or drive off-road to some of Queenstown's remotest and most beautiful scenery.
