Bill Burke says he paints pretty much whatever catches his eye, and is as much known for his colourful landscapes, busy maritime scenes and farmyard animals, as he is for his portrayal of people. For the third time in a row, Bill's portraits have been selected for the prestigious biennial Adam Portrait Award, and chosen to tour the country. Renowned wooden boat builder Jack Guard and shepherd Doug Blair, both oils, were the first two selected, followed by a pastel of his mate Kev with chook Tina.
In 2013, with 35 years as a professional picture framer, Bill opened his own gallery and picture framing business. Bill Burke's original art works, prints and cards are for sale, and he offers expert advice for your framing requirements.
