Spellbound is a lockwood home sited on the brow of a hill, 100 metres above Hahei Beach, providing fantastic panoramic ocean views to Mahurangi Island and beyond.

Our rooms have sea views with ensuites/private bathrooms.

Weather permitting, our generous continental breakfast – fruit juice, choice of cereals, fruits (fresh and cooked), and homemade yoghurt, breads, muffins and jams, with all dietary concerns catered for - is served on the front deck overlooking the sea.

We are situated very centrally, making it easy to take day-trips all over the Coromandel Peninsula.

• Whitianga township – 40 mins. drive north.
• Tairua – 35 mins. drive south
• Coromandel historical township – 1 hour + drive west.
• 5 min. walk to Hahei Beach.
• Bushwalk to Cathedral Cove.
• 10 min. drive to Hot Water Beach for a warm soak all year round.
• Restaurants and cafes in Hahei village, at the end of our road.
• Boat trips, craft trail, swimming, bird-watching, snorkelling and diving trips, surf beaches, fishing, photogenic scenery, and private gardens to visit, plus lots more.
