Yiruma-Autumn Rain Live in Auckland 2017

Yiruma is a Korean contemporary classical musician who combines melodious Korean compositions with inspiration and emotion. Making a historical impact for his country, Yiruma was the first Korean artist to receive an invitation to perform at the 2002 MIDEM in Cannes, France. Among his most popular pieces are “River Flows in You” inspired from Samuel Vallée, “Kiss the Rain” and “Maybe”.

In 2012 he made an appearance on the German TV show and in the following year, he held solo concerts in Poland and Russia. Yiruma has released numerous albums that encompass elements of both the contemporary and classical music genre. Yiruma’s videos on YouTube have reached over 400 million views, which is a strong indication of his worldwide popularity and appeal.

His simple, yet melodic and emotional pieces resonate well with the modern listener; millions around the world are moved by his music. In 2016, Yiruma successfully held his concert tour across the Australia, and attracted more than 6,500 music lovers to join his music journey. The Sydney concert has been sold out just 1 month after the public release. In May 2017, Yiruma will bring his first recital concert to Auckland!
