A stay at River Valley need not be about taking part in an adventure (although rafting, horse trekking and cycling are all options). There are also plenty of places to just relax with a book, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy the peace and quiet.

A Riverside Deluxe ensuite room. The lodge offers a range of accommodation, from shared bunk rooms to private deluxe rooms.
The River Valley Kitchen serves fresh, farm-to-table meals. We do not publish a menu, as our chefs are encouraged to get creative with whatever fresh and seasonal produce is growing in the gardens at River Valley Acres.
Guests can relax in the River Valley Spa. We have a hot tub overlooking the river, wood fired sauna, infa-red sauna and outdoor rainforest shower.
River Valley is a great place to gather. With 2 meeting rooms available for meetings, events, conferences, or just a group gathering.
The scenic drive into River Valley has amazing views of rural New Zealand backcountry.

We have a range of accommodation options from bunk rooms, to campsites through to deluxe Riverside Suites perfect for a romantic weekend away.
We highly value getting out on both the river and land, exploring, experiencing, reconnecting with nature, normally by raft or horseback. The Rangitikei River offers some of the best rafting in New Zealand, and the world.
If being within cell phone reception or shopping is an essential part of your day then River Valley is not for you.
