Day 3 To Bay of Islands: Collect your hire car and drive north to the small town of Russell in the Bay of Islands. Stay at the Eagles Nest for 2 nights. (N)

Day 5 To Rotorua: Fly from Kerikeri to Rotorua, via Auckland. Upon arrival, collect your hire car and drive to Peppers on the Point for a 3 night stay. (B)
Days 6 & 7 Rotorua: Days at leisure to explore the volcanic attractions of Rotorua. A Rotorua Diamond Pass is included offering entrances to a number of attractions. (B)
Day 8 To Kaikoura: Fly to Blenheim, via Wellington, and collect your hire car. Drive south to Kaikoura and stay overnight at the Hapuku Lodge & Treehouses. (B)
Day 9 To Christchurch: Morning whale watching cruise in Kaikoura. Afternoon drive to Christchurch for 2 nights at The George. (B)

Day 11 To Queenstown: Morning flight to Queenstown. Upon arrival, collect your hire car and drive to Azur Lodge for 4 nights. (N)
Day 12 Queenstown: Full day shared nature cruise on Milford Sound, with a scenic flight back to Queenstown (subject to weather conditions). (B)
