The view is stunning from each and every boutique self contained apartment at Beach Lodge, whether unobstructed over Doubtless Bay or sea views through impressive Pohutukawa trees.
The two bedroom units are independent and tastefully furnished, each with its own deck. Features of Beach Lodge are its magnificent location and impressive facilities.
All units were recently refurbished, with a full kitchen complete with large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, wall oven, hob and quality crockery and glasses. When not self-catering, a popular suggestion is to takeaway lunch or dinner from the famous Mangonui fish-and-chip shop, just a five minute drive away.
Summer days will more than likely consist of lazing on the deck, enjoying a G&T with Margaret, who is a fabulous host. Indoor climate control is comfortable in summer with air-conditioning; the heat pump for cooler months. On a winter escape it would be great to cocoon in this self-indulgent luxury in front of the 50-channel cable television.
