Camp Estate

Camp Estate is the newest addition to the grounds of New Zealand’s only castle, Larnach Castle. Camp Estate is located just 500 metres from the main gate of Larnach Castle and is on 35 acres of original Larnach Castle land.

Perched on the hills of the Otago Peninsula, near Dunedin, Camp Estate is a luxurious country house overlooking the spectacular Otago Harbour.

This property is a 5 bedroom boutique lodge and also has function room facilities available for up to 60 guests.  A spectacular marble staircase greets guests as they enter the house and this stunning style continues throughout the house.

Camp Estate is decorated in a neo classic style with designer guild wallpapers, mirrors and black granite throughout giving the rooms a modern look but with a classic twist. The bedrooms all reflect the rural aspect, with several of them having harbour views.

All rooms also have a gas fire place, under floor heating and wireless laptops for guests to use. The hosts at Camp Estate provide an intimate setting with high quality personal service.

Camp Estate guests have a complimentary breakfast at the Estate, as well as access to Larnach Castle and Gardens, just a 5 minute walk away. House guests have the opportunity to dine at Larnach Castle.
