This restaurant is truly visionary, as it is the first organic lodge restaurant in all of New Zealand! Guests from far and wide have had their taste buds delighted by the amazing organic food prepared fresh from the Le Manoir gardens and also sourced from local producers and artisans.

With dishes on the menu such as Salmon & Prawn Fillet Mignons (with Manuka Honey and NZ herbs), New Zealand Lamb Rack with delicious kumara, and Almond Steamed Pudding, it doesn’t take long to realise that this is a unique restaurant which incorporates international flair with local flavour.

Le Manoir aspires to eventually have all food on the menu sourced from no more than a 100 mile radius – an ambitious feat which they are very close to achieving.

He enjoys creating a new potato dish each day, sometimes using native varieties such as Te Maori and Huakoroko to add an extra New Zealand touch for international guests keen to experience Aotearoa’s culinary delights.
