Kayaking on Milford Sound gives an up close and personal perspective of this amazing environment.
If you are thinking of doing some Kayaking you can't go past New Zealand's most spectacular Sea Kayaking destination - Milford Sound.
With experienced kayak guides and in small groups, it is a great way to view the fiords from nature's level. Get up close to the thundering waterfalls and see wildlife that may include seals, penguins and possibly dolphins as you paddle along the shoreline.
And don't let the cooler weather put you off - some of the best days kayaking are to be had in the winter months (and of course less sandflies).
Best to base yourself in either Milford Sound or Te Anau for a full days sea kayaking adventure.
