Hawke's Bay has over 5 top courses within 20 minutes of Havelock House based near Hastings, Napier & Havelock North village & Cape Kidnappers
For all golfers there is a course for you to play. 5 courses within 20 minutes, a warm kiwi welcome awaits you.
With the exception of Cape Kidnappers, green fees are surprisingly modest at under $NZ 50.
Whatever the season, golf is great in this part of New Zealand's North Island. Why not consider visiting Hawke's Bay for a winter golfing break even in April through July?
You can enjoy temperatures of 16-23 degrees Celsius; and additional benefits are cheaper flights and accommodation.
Don't leave out a wine tour. There are over 70 wineries in Hawke's Bay including the oldest at the Mission.
Also enjoy fabulous walking on Te Mata Peak or cycle the wineries or coastal pathways; matching the quality of the wine is the food - top kiwi chefs delight in producing dishes of taste and imagination - Le Terroir at Craggy Range is one of the 'must do's' while you are here - a fitting finale to a hard day's work on the golf course.
Extend your stay to take in a wine tour an Art Deco experience or hire a bike and cycle round the wineries in the nearby Gimlett Gravels; don't leave Hawke's Bay without a trip up Te Mata Peak to see the best views of the Bay and read about the Maori legends.
Take a walk along one of the rotary pathways or along the sandy beaches at Ocean Beach and Waimarama just 20 minutes away, or just relax in the attractive Havelock North village over a coffee and cake in one of the pavement cafes.
Stay in the comfort of Havelock House 4 **** Qualmark accommodation - 10 minutes from Hastings golf club & 20 minutes from Cape Kidnappers - a real 'home away from home', luxury Bed & Breakfast.
Very spacious ensuite rooms, affordable from $NZ180 for 2, and offering all the comforts of boutique lodgings including great breakfasts

Sick of staying in motels 4 golfers decided to try the B&B experience.....and what a treat it was staying at Havelock House with Diana and Jeff.
Comfortable beds with en-suites with lots of room to relax after our game. The facilities were first class with the location very handy to the Hastings Golf Club at Bridge Pa and the Havelock North Village.
The best was yet to come as we enjoyed a hearty breakfast (including home cooked muffins) before we ventured off to "conquer the beast" Cape Kidnappers. This was and experience we all wish to repeat in the not to distant future.
Thanks Diana and Jeff for a great stay. The boys from Wanganui.
