The St Clair Beach Resort Hotel has recently been awarded the prestigeous accolade of being named New Zealand's Best New Hotel.
St Clair Beach Resort, the most recent addition to the Dunedin hotel scene has won the Best New/Redeveloped Accommodation Hotel in New Zealand at the Annual Hospitality Association of New Zealand Awards for Excellence. Since opening in late 2009, the hotel has become one of the city’s most sought after destinations with both their popular restaurant, Pier 24 and high end accommodation that has already attracted a number of high profile guests including Sir Tom Jones, Zandra Rhodes and TV3’s John Campbell.
The Awards for Excellence programme is a HANZ initiative recognising those who perform with excellence over a range of categories. The annual event was hosted at Auckland’s SKYCITY where both James Hacon, Resort Manager and Michael Coughlin, Executive Chef accepted the award.

The hotel were also one of three national finalists in the Best Lamb category.
