Devour a bacon butty at the Otago Farmers Market (Saturday's only).
Devour a bacon butty at the Otago Farmers Market(on Saturday only). Held in the Dunedin Railway Station car park every Saturday. The food selection, espresso and people watching is superb. The market is be a great place to get some kai (Maori word for food) for a picnic lunch.
Other highlights include the crepes, pork sandwiches, the havoc pork sausages (seriously the most delicious sausies I have ever tasted) and the Evansdale cheese caravan.
Cost: Bacon butties are around $4.50 each.
Dunedin is located on the South East coast of the South Island. It is a city nestled in tree-clad hills at the head of a spectacular harbour.
