Welcome to Abyss Safari, based in Tauranga. Our mission is to ensure you have a great time and take home fond memories of your trip with us in the great outdoors!
If your passion is fishing, we can offer two high quality 40’ boats, “Fixation” and “Sunfish I”. Both are rigged for serious sport and are available for game/reef fishing safaris to the best areas in the Bay of Plenty, including Mayor Island.
We target a wide variety of fish - from big pelagic game fish with seasonal migration patterns such as marlin, broadbill swordfish, mako shark, kingfish and tuna - to resident territorial species such as hapuka, snapper and terakihi.
We can accommodate 8 guests for half & full day trips or 6 for multi-day live-aboard charters.
