WAIOTAPU SHUTTLE: We pick you up from your accommodation between 9.15 and 9.30 and take you on a scenic drive to Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland - The worlds most colourful geothermal park. We stop at NZs largest Mud Pools and then arrive at lady Knox Geyser for its 10.15am eruption. Once you have witnessed this rare phenomenon we transfer you to Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland for the 75-90 minute walk taking in features such as craters, fumeroles, geysers, geothermal lakes, the artists pallette and of course the world renowned Champagne Pool with its spectacular colours. We then transfer you back to Rotorua arriving before 13.00. A spectacular morning adventure in the heart of The Taupo Volcanic Zone.
