About

The Agricultural Heritage Museum is located at Mystery Creek, home of New Zealand National Fieldays Society. The museum is open Mon.- Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for groups of 10 or more by reservation.

Tours of the museum complex tell the story of New Zealands farming history focusing on agricultural innovation, how the early farmers lived and how the dairy industry was established.

The National Dairy Museum looks at the dairy industry from an "on the farm" perspective including the history of dairy export, innovations in machinery, milk collection on the farm, the development of milking sheds and todays high tech Kiwi dairy farmer.

A walk around the Heritage Village allows visitors to experience a 100 year old New Zealand village.
