Welcome to our heritage style Bed and Breakfast. Our unique home is nestled on 5 acres of farmland. Originally built as a school in 1911, it has now been lovingly renovated and offers two double bedrooms. The original school room has been transformed into the living area with polished NZ native timber floors and log fire. We are surrounded by spectacular scenery and have ski fields, lakes and golf courses close by. With Mt Cook only a 90 minute drive.
We also operate a Boutique Smokehouse (Fat Albert Smokehouse) based on traditional Scottish recipes. Specialising in smoked venison, duck, tuna and also salmon. Situated on State Highway 79, 5kms North of Fairlie on the Geraldine-Fairlie route. Christchurch 2 hours/Queenstown 3 hours.
