Our Swiss style lodge nestles in 5 acres of native bush with beautiful views of Mount Taranaki, situated at the edge of the Egmont National Park. It is the gateway to walking, skiing and climbing.
Our Swiss style Lodge nestles in 5 acres of native bush & is designed to capture majestic views of Mount Taranaki. Landscaping includes New Zealand natives, lakes, waterwheel & bushwalk.
The Lodge has three guest bedrooms. A characteristic log staircase arrives on the third floor to the top room. This has a mezzanine floor and own private balcony, all with amazing views up to the mountain. The ensuite has twin vanity and spa bath. The second floor rooms open out onto a balcony overlooking native bush with rimu and kahikatea, home to abundant native birdlife.
The Egmont National Park starts opposite our front entrance and is the gateway to many short and long walks. We are on the Pembroke Road, Stratford is 7 minutes drive away.
