Situated at the head of a valley surrounded by rock cliffs, this large 18 year old picturesque, tranquil garden is created on natural undulating boulder strewn farmland, with expansive lawns and walking tracks.
A cascading water-fall joins two large ponds. An island of natural native wetland plants enhances the top pond, the lower pond is planted with various Irises plus other water loving plants, & has its own island, resembling Stewart Island.
An old fashioned fruit orchard, vegetable & herb garden supplies the home with produce all year around.
Inclusive is a museum of antique musical instruments, cane fishing rods, English porcelain, crystal and silver available for viewing.
Also a working farm with walking tracks.
