Tour the Galaxy through a Telescope! Visit a hands-on observatory which holds the largest public telescope in the North Island. On the Solar System tour see craters on the Moon, the satellites of Jupiter, or the rings of Saturn.
On the Galaxy tour, see the above plus, galactic star clusters, nebulae, globular clusters, & galaxies. Marvel at the Milky Way, our very own Galaxy. All viewed from the superbly dark skies of our Northland location, away from both light and air pollution.
A laser display helps us to show you the Southern Stars and important objects so you can find them from home. We have telescopes on hand, which participants are welcome to operate. A great hands on learning experience. On site accommodation available.
