Wool-fun with farmstay. As well as Farmstay, guests can also choose to experience an important part of New Zealand history through woolcrafts. Meet the sheep and alpacas, feed them, and then learn about different woolcrafts, and make your own original creation. You can felt, weave, knit, spin, dye...all your choice.
From 1pm day 1 - 1pm day 2, $225pp. includes materials, tuition, meals and accommodation.
Accommodation is in our custom built log house with spectacular views over Lyttelton Harbour. Our spa is available 24 hours a day, and the meals are mostly from our organic garden.
Our animals include sheep, alapacas and cows. The sheep are mostly Gotland sheep, a rare breed in New Zealand, excellent for woolcrafts.
