The Brook Valley Holiday Park is situated at the head of a valley 4 1/2 kms from the centre of Nelson city. It is in a tranquil native bush setting backing onto a the Waimarama Brook bird sanctuary. The walkways include the Dun mountain track which was New Zealands first railway which climbs up to Dun Mountain.
The bird life is abundant and you will wake to the sound of the bird chorus every morning. Even though we are so close to town you get the feeling you are in the middle of nowhere.
