Camp Esldon is a friendly family camp nestled in bush setting overlooking Porirua harbour. Signposted from State Highway 1, Porirua. 25 Minutes from downtown Wellington and convenient stopover for Interislander and Bluebridge ferry terminals.
Handy to local city centre, restaurants, supermarkets, mall, aquatic centre (hydro slide), surf beach, windsurfing and native walks up to panoramic view of Wellington, Kapiti and the South Island.
Accommodation includes our Kowhai Lodge which contains 24 twin rooms, two dormitories (each sleeping 15 in two tier bunks), 5 cabins (which sleep from 2 to 7 people, kitchens and dining halls. Trains to and from Wellington run every 30 minutes during week days and hourly on weekends.
