Catlins Wildlife Trackers Ecotours provide one full day guided tour plus three nights fully catered accommodation for up to eight people in the Catlins.
Stay for three nights with one full day of guiding and one day self-guiding in and around the Catlins coastal rainforest park. On these tours you will see and learn about habitats and their geological and ecological evolution. The wildlife seen includes the world's rarest penguin (yellow eyed penguin), rarest sea lion (Hookers sea lion) and many bird species in their natural habitats.
Tour groups are guided through forests trails and coastal walks. Guests stay in private eco-cottages at Mohua Park (www.catlinsmohuapark.co.nz) and share home cooked meals with their hosts.
