About

The Chillawhile Victorian home was built in 1883 during the colonial times of the British Empire, created by wealthy Welsh Historian W.H.S Roberts, the original name of the house was Marapua which is the Maori name for flower.

Beautiful private gardens and situated directly behind Roberts Park in the North End Oamaru, Frome Steet is off the Main Thames Highway by the public toilets.

Special features include Open Art Studio Gallery for guests, range of musical instruments, large garden area for fire spinners and performers.
