Dutch Golf is a new concept for New Zealand and was officially opened on 28 October 2008 by the Dutch consul and the Hurunui Mayor. It can be played individually or in groups.
On our own property we have developed a special kind of golf, called Dutch Golf. It is played in a paddock with Dutch clogs (wooden shoes) on a stick with a bigger soft leather ball. It is fun for everyone from 5 to 85 and can be easily adjusted for team building or children parties. We also cater lunches and BBQs for groups on appointment.
The price for a game is $ 15, lunch $ 10 and BBQ $ 20 per person (valid to 31-12-2009). The course has 16 holes and is 2200 metres long.
In 2009 a open Dutch Golf will be held in November, open for everybody. For more details go to our website closer to the date (www.thedutchstation.co.nz).
