Founders is situated a five minute stroll from the Tongariro River, for brilliant trout fishing.
The Tongariro Alpine Crossing bus will pick you up from our front door and return you back here at the end of the day.

Mt Ruapehu offers superb skiing in the wintertime which is a 40 minute drive away.
