Wildlife Discovery Tour. Explore the wilderness that is French Pass and d'Urville Island. Alive with wildlife, seals, dolphins and seabirds including the rare King Shag and Little Blue Penguin.
Dramatic landscapes and swirling waterways. Rich in Maori and European history and once home to the famous dolphin Pelorus Jack.
Tours depart daily at 10am and 2pm. Wildlife discovery tour approximately 2 hours. Other options allow you to circum-navigate d'Urville Island and Stephens Island, home to the oldest living fossil, the Tuatara. Visit Chetwode Islands, a nature reserve.
If time is short, take a half day tour, walk to waterfalls or lunch on the island. Bookings are essential.
