Hanmer Backpackers is a small, cozy alpine style wood chalet. Hanmer's most centrally located hostel, on the main street by the shops and a couple of minutes walk from the thermal pools & spa.
A huge range of activities available, forest walks, horse riding, mountain biking, rafting, bungy, fishing, skiing and many more.
Relaxed, friendly atmosphere and warm, comfortable rooms with linen included on all beds. Offering a fully equipped kitchen, broadband internet facilities, hot showers and a cosy log fire. Free tea, real coffee. Plenty of off-street parking, tent sites. A home away from home. Doubles, dorms and family room available. Rates from $24-$29 a night.
