Creative Hastings operates New Zealand's busiest community-based art gallery and nurtures and develops the arts throughout the region.
The Hastings Community Art Centre (HCAC) gallery in Russell Street South, Hastings has an ever-changing array of paintings, photographs, sculptures and crafts, drawn from all over Hawke's Bay and most available for sale. Most work is only exhibited for two weeks, providing an enormous amount of diversity. Our doors are open to you from 9:30am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) and 10:00am-2:00pm (Sat).
