Hokianga Bone Carving Studio

If you want to learn how to create & design your very own bone carving with my help, then you're just a phone call or click away. In my 17 years of carving, I know of no other carver that teaches the way I do. You draw your design (with my help if needed) & you cut, shape & file it with my guidance throughout. All the bone carving is done in our home studio which looks over the Hokianga Harbour. If you're staying at a hostel or backpackers, we pick you up at around 9am & drop you back when you have finished (there is no time limit to how long it's going to take to do your bone carving). Just relax & enjoy our hospitality as you're working on your very own special bone carving. (Lunch is provided) Over lunch listen to Maori Myths & Legends.
