Homestay Oamaru is located high on a bluff on a quiet, private site, close to the town centre and with plenty of off-street parking. The Southern Scenic Walkway access is at the property boundary. Your Host, Doug, is an experienced traveler who can set you at ease so that you feel at home without any sense of being over-fussed.
Doug has a detailed knowledge of the local area and would be happy to help you plan what to do during your time here. Some of the area's attractions include sea and river fishing, historic architecture, unique geological features and eco-tourism - the penguins!! Gay and lesbian friendly. A delicious full breakfast is included in the room rate.
Dinner ($25) can be had as an extra.
