The Hossack offers some of New Zealand's finest wild and free red stag hunting. You will hunt a classic 24,000 acre (10,000 hectare) NZ high country station which also undertakes sheep and beef farming. Other wild and free game animals can also be hunted including chamois, fallow deer, wild boar and wild sheep.
The Hossack also provides game ranch hunting if required and tahr hunting on nearby properties. The hunting camp is clean, warm and comfortable. It can accommodate up to four hunters and four non hunters. The local tourist town of Hanmer Springs is only a 20 minute drive from the Hossack where many other tourist activities can be undertaken or first class accommodation can be found. Trout and salmon fishing is also available.
