The Kaipara2Kaipara Walk is a 3 day self-guided walk taking you on a journey through heartland New Zealand. Located just 45 minutes north of Auckland, the 30km K2K walk is a snapshot of real NZ.
The Kaipara2Kaipara walk is a three day self-guided walk taking you on a journey through heartland New Zealand.
A real country to coast experience, the 30km K2K walk starts in rural Kaipara Flats village and passes through the farm and bush lands of the Kaipara Hills before finishing in the saltmarsh wetlands and coastal forest of the Kaipara Harbour.
The accommodation on the K2K walk is as diverse as the fauna and includes an historic homestead, a rustic farm bach and an eco-lodge. Walkers have the option of self-catering or having all meals provided.
The start of the K2K is located just 45 minutes north of Auckland making it an ideal long-weekend adventure.
The K2K walk is open from October 1st to April 20th.
