15 minutes drive from New Plymouth, 4 minutes drive to Oakura Beach and village. Expansive bush and sea views. Extremely private, only single group exclusive use bookings. Situated beside a National Park, and handy to nearby bush walks. An intact Maori Pa (formerly occupied Maori dwelling area with fortifications) is located within a 5 minute drive. Oakura Beach has a summer lifeguard patrolled area and is well suited to beach walks. There are several restaurants at Oakura village, also hairdresser, health and beauty day spa. The lodge is powered by an off-grid independent power system, incorporating solar and hydro. We have our own spring water, and there is a two person bath. Natural therapies are available in house.
