About

This beautiful park, set on the edge of Tauranga harbour, is simply paradise. Established 31 years ago, the mature gardens are a tranquil oasis with formal and informal planting, water lily ponds and contemporary sculpture set amongst secluded lawns. The gardens are home to over 50 varieties of birds including native Keas, Kotuku-ngutupapa (Royal Spoonbill), Kereru, Kawaupaka (little shag), Papango (Teal) and Kakariki.

Visitors can hand feed the friendly peacocks, exotic pheasants and doves that roam the grounds. The café serves morning and afternoon tea or a variety of options for lunch. Golf cart tours are available. Cafe, Garden and Gallery open 7 days a week. Check mid winter hours.
