The Animal Park has pet lambs to bottle feed, goats to milk, and eggs to collect, plus a variety of other animals including wallabies and kiwi bear (opossum). Enjoy the wonders of the animal world.
An opportunity to view NZ native flora and fauna at its best. We provide a guided nocturnal or twilight bush walk to see NZ national emblem - the ponga or silver fern. Especially vivid under light. Other flora includes kowhai - NZ national floral emblem and kotukutuku - tree fuchsia, the largest fuchsia in the world. Native birds like tui, bellbird and fantail enjoy the nectar from these species.
