Mac Retreat is located in Mangawhai Heads, Northland, situated on a hill with seaviews & only five minutes walk to the local shops, cafe, golf courses and estuary. A 10 minute walk to one of our spectacular beaches.
We are central to many local activities that you can enjoy while staying at magical Mangwhai, for example, Goat Island Marine Reserve, many local markets, 50 minutes to Whangarei, Kauri Museum, Waipu caves, local vineyards, fishing & diving charters are to just name a few.
What makes Mac Retreat unique to other places to stay in Mangawhai is that we are wheelchair accessible, and have a variety of therapeutic massage and spa treatments available as well as we offer holiday respite care and carer support for families.
