Situated near the coast in the holiday hamlet of Mangawhai is the stunning 18 hole golf course with a mixture of wide and narrow fairways, undulating greens landscaped in a picturesque setting surrounded by native bush and wetlands.
Located less than 90 minutes north of Auckland, and consistently regarded as one of the top courses in NZ. In September 2010 Mangawhai was ranked 20th in the top 25 courses in NZ by a panel of NZPGA Professionals and Golf Travel operators.
The course was originally designed in 1979 by Harry Dale a designer of over 60 courses. Meticulously maintained, the course is a demanding mixture of wide and narrow fairways, undulating greens landscaped in a picturesque setting surrounded by native bush and wetlands that attract a wide range of bird life.
The Club has a fully equipped Golf Shop offering a wide range of hire and new equipment with Bar & Café facilities
