Matakana House Motel has sixteen units built in 2000-2003, up-to-date and comfortable. From a studio with tea/coffee making facilities for an over night stay, to a two bedroom unit with complete kitchen, ideal for families and longer holidays. Or spoil yourself in the honeymoon unit with its own spa bath.
We are located in the Matakana Village which is the hub of a picturesque and vibrant rural community, an hour north of Auckland’s Harbour Bridge. From here walk to Matakana Farmers Market,3 bars & restaurants, movie theatres and shopping complex. Matakana Country park. Close to a lot of Marine Reserves and beaches. The less physical may prefer to check out the six local wineries and their restaurant or cafes.
