Methven Heliskiing is based in the remote headwaters of the Rakaia River, our terrain incorporates 3 mountain ranges and more than 250 named runs. We have runs to suit all abilities from beginner to expert.
The standard "Perfect" heliski day includes 5 runs, and return transport to the helipad from Methven.The helipad is based at Glenfalloch Station, a working high country sheep station.
The scenery here is stunning, featuring glaciers and dramatic peaks, with incredible views down the Main Divide to Aoraki/Mount Cook.
All our guides are internationally qualified professionals. Methven Heliski is operated by Alpine Guides (Aoraki) Ltd.
