The Methven i-SITE Visitor Centre is part of New Zealand's official nationwide Visitor Information Network.
Situated in the Methven Heritage Centre, the i-SITE is a focal point for visitors to the Ashburton District. The Centre includes the NZ Alpine & Agriculture Encounter, experience being in a combine harvester, explore an ice cave or check out a heritage ski film.
Services include:
- information on hiking/bike trails, sightseeing, restaurants, and retailers
- a complete reservation system
- Souvenirs including NZ made gifts, jewellery and a range of scarves and hats
Summer Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm, Saturday to Sunday 10.00am-3.00pm
Winter Hours: Monday to Sunday 7.15am-5.45pm
Public Holidays 10am-3pm, Anzac Day 9am-3pm
