Quiet camp set among large trees in Mt Somers Village, which has an interesting general store, award winning restaurant, tavern that serves meals, tennis courts, swimming pool and museum. Within 1/2 hrs drive are 9 Rivers & 7 Lakes suitable for Salmon or Trout fishing. Close to either end of Mt Somers Alpine Walkway (one of the top ten walks in N.Z) 45 min to Mt Hutt ski field. Ensuite & Standard cabins, power & tent sites, Recreation room, well equipped kitchen, showers with plenty of hot water at no extra charge. Also a dining hall available for larger groups.
