At Mountain Jade Backpackers we are a modern hostel in the heart of Hokitika overlooking the historic Hokitika Clock Tower.
We have a range of rooms from dorm beds through to private double rooms and 2 self contained family units that can sleep up to 5 people.
We are a short 5 minute walk from the river and beach as well as local craft store's and restaurants.
We can give you any help you are needing about the West Coast and help you plan your trip with ideas and activities.
Our balcony give you fantastic veiw's of the town ,sunset's and sunrise's that the West Coast is famous for.
Our hostel is also in the heart of the Wild Foods Festival which is held yearly in the first weekend in March (bookings are essential).
