Conveniently situated eight minutes drive from Stratford on the ‘Forgotten World Highway’, Oak Tree Cottage offers a central position for access to many of Taranaki’s attractions, including public gardens, ski field, restaurants, galleries, museums and more.
Relax in a fully furnished two double-bedroom 1890s cottage with facilities such as air-conditioning and modern kitchen and bathroom.
Enjoy a short stroll to the village pub for a drink and a meal, or stay and use the fully equipped kitchen. A private deck also allows for outdoor entertaining.
The cottage also houses a self-contained traditional bookbinding studio and a wood-fired potters kiln which has been converted to a pizza oven.
